"I am the vine. You are the branches. He who remains in me, and I in him, the same bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing." (John 15:5, WEB) Context: It's the night before the cross. After the Last Supper, Jesus is preparing His eleven disciples for His leaving. He tells them that their life and fruit will come from staying connected to Him, not from their own strength. For us today: You don't have to force fruit. A branch doesn't strain, it stays connected. When you're tired of trying harder, come back to Jesus. Pray, sit in His Word, and lean on Him. What He grows in you will last.
